Alaska FastrAK rapid pathogen test for Salmonella receives AOAC accreditation

Alaska Food Diagnostics has received Association of Analytical Communities Research Institute (AOAC RI) accreditation of its fastrAK^TM Salmonella rapid pathogen detection method. The high specificity, high sensitivity, rapid fastrAK assay, created using patented Adenylate Kinase (AK) Phage^TM technology, has been granted this official recognition for Salmonella testing of Ready to Eat (RTE) and Processed Poultry Products.
